Water Resources Allocation Based on Complex Adaptive System Theory in the Inland River Irrigation District

Water resources are the key factors affecting sustainable development of inland river irrigation districts. The establishment a water management model is helpful to realize coordinated water, society, and ecology. Aiming at contradiction use ecological vulnerability, this study was based on method complex adaptive system (CAS) theory, an agent-based modeling (ABM) adopted. Taking Huaitoutala district as research object, resource considering balance established, with potentially tapping in source area effective constraint. This took 2016 datum year; consumption comprehensive benefits four water-saving scenarios different characteristic years were simulated optimized under conditions current supply 10% 15% potential tapping. results showed that behavior adaptability agent can well optimize simulate district. Under application high-efficiency technology; utilization efficiency (WUE) has been significantly improved. increased proportion which conducive protection rivers.
